The Attorney

An engineer's order, a counselor's care.

Before he practiced law, Scott L. Smith, Jr. worked as an engineer and an educator, and later served Louisiana as an Assistant Attorney General. That blend of precision, public service, and teaching shapes how he works today.

Estate planning is, at heart, about reducing uncertainty for the people you love. Scott approaches it the way an engineer approaches a structure: understand the whole picture, plan for the stresses to come, and build something that holds. He represents families and small, and mid-size businesses across New Roads, Baton Rouge, and the surrounding parishes.
